- RESPONDENT invites stakeholders and energy professionals to explore its cutting-edge power generation forecasting module.
- This online workshop will showcase the integration of Copernicus Climate and Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS) for real-time renewable energy forecasting.
- Gain insights into AI/ML-based forecasting algorithms and engage directly with RESPONDENT’s technical team.
Dublin, Ireland – 2/10/2024 – RESPONDENT, a Horizon Europe project dedicated to advancing the integration of renewable energy sources (RES) into Europe’s power grids using European space technologies, is excited to announce an online workshop it is hosting in December.
Following the success of the first RESPONDENT pilot demonstration held in Athens this October, the project is excited to announce an online technical workshop on December 17th, 2024, at 3:00 PM CET and lasting approximately one hour. This virtual event will highlight RESPONDENT’s innovative power generation forecasting module and dashboard, offering a unique opportunity for a broader audience to learn about and interact with this advanced solution.
Workshop Highlights
- Exploring Advanced Technologies: Learn how RESPONDENT uses European space technologies like CAMS to deliver accurate and reliable renewable energy source (RES) forecasts.
- AI/ML Innovation: Gain a deeper understanding of RESPONDENT’s AI/ML-based forecasting algorithms, designed to support the clean energy transition.
- Interactive Session: Participate in live discussions, ask questions, and connect with the RESPONDENT technical team.
Ahead of the workshop, Andreas Tsarouchas of project coordinator Future Intelligence Ltd (FINT) shared:
“This forecasting module brings unprecedented predictability to renewable energy, empowering operators to better balance supply and demand. We’re thrilled to share this technology with a broader audience.”
The pilot demonstration is open to stakeholders, end-users, media representatives, and all those who may wish to attend.
