The RESPONDENT consortium gathers in Dublin, Ireland, May 22nd-23rd to review progress and prep for our review meeting.
The RESPONDENT consortium is thrilled to announce that our next plenary meeting, scheduled for May 22nd and 23rd, will be held in the offices of partner Carr Communications in Dublin, Ireland.
As with previous plenary sessions of the project partners, the purpose of our meeting is to discuss the progress of our project and the individual modules that make up our innovative solution suite as we enter into the final stretch of RESPONDENT’s timeline and prepare for our pilot demonstrations.
In addition, the meeting will also afford the partners an excellent opportunity to prepare and gather insights ahead of the project’s review meeting with the EU Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA), who monitors RESPONDENT on behalf of the European Commission, in early June.
Speaking ahead of the meeting in May, Project Coordinator Effie Makri, who had previously lived in Dublin for a number of years, spoke of her anticipation for the plenary:
“It’s been over six months since the partners last came together at the headquarters of Vicomtech in San Sebastián, so the time is definitely right for our 3rd plenary session given the progress and strong position of RESPONDENT. These physical meetings always prove to be engaging and fruitful and give us plenty to discuss and consider, especially ahead of our important first periodic review meeting with EUSPA.”
“On a personal note, I’m also excited to be returning to Dublin and seeing how the city has changed since I lived there. I’m also hoping that our hosts will be able to recommend where to find the best pint of Guinness in the city once the meetings have concluded!”
