From the 28th to the 30th November, the RESPONDENT consortium was proud to have attended and showcase our project at Enlit Europe‘s incredible event in Paris.
Bringing together more than 12,000 attendees, 700 exhibitors, and 500 speakers from across Europe in the French capital, the event featured an extensive range of topics, debates, and presentations that have the potential to impact the future of the European economy, society, and environment for decades to come.
Over in the EU Projects Zone, RESPONDENT was represented by project partners FINT, VICOM, and Aněll, who were thrilled to debut our new dissemination materials; a project pull-up banner and brochures. The partners also fielded questions from attendees, industry leaders, and stakeholders who stopped by our project booth to learn more about the innovative solutions that the project will develop, and how they will help the EU achieve its decarbonisation goals through the use of European space-based technologies.
In addition to showcasing RESPONDENT at our dedicated booth, Project Coordinator Effie Makri gave an informative and engaging presentation at the “Space the Final Frontier” session on the transformative potential of space technologies in the energy sector.
Speaking to a packed audience, Effie outlined the aims and challenges of RESPONDENT, the methodology it employs, the stakeholders and benefitted groups we are targeting, and the space technologies that the project utilises to transform the way that renewable energy sources are exploited for a clean, secure, and affordable European future.
