Following the success of the first RESPONDENT pilot demonstration in Athens in mid-October, we are excited to announce an upcoming online technical workshop in December, where we will showcase our innovative power generation forecasting module and dashboard.
This virtual event will allow a broader audience of stakeholders, end users, and interested parties across Europe to witness and explore RESPONDENT’s power generation forecasting module and dashboard from the convenience of their own locations, and for those who were unable to attend the first demonstration.
This workshop will provide an in-depth look at how RESPONDENT leverages European space technologies—specifically the Copernicus Climate and Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS)—to deliver accurate, real-time forecasts of renewable energy sources (RES) power generation. Attendees will gain insights into the project’s AI/ML-based forecasting algorithms and learn how they support Europe’s clean energy transition by making RES integration more predictable and reliable.
Reflecting on the technology’s potential, Andreas Tsarouchas of FINT noted, “This forecasting module is designed to bring a new level of predictability to renewable energy, offering operators and stakeholders the insights needed to better balance supply and demand. We’re excited to bring this demonstration online once again to reach a broader audience.”
This workshop is ideal for energy sector stakeholders, technical specialists, and all those interested in cutting-edge solutions for energy forecasting. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions and engage with our technical team, making this session one that is both informative and interactive.
We look forward to welcoming you to this event as we continue to advance RESPONDENT’s mission of fostering a resilient and sustainable energy future with European space technologies.
